The North Shore Brain Injury Recovery Program runs every Friday afternoon from 1:00-4:00 pm.  The Brain Gain Fridays event has neurologically beneficial exercise every week and frequent art therapy, music therapy, games, puzzles, social integration, and fun.

Previously,  there was no similar event for acquired brain injury survivors unless their mechanism of injury was a stroke.

Exercise is for health recovery for improved balance, coordination, and neuroplasticity.  Dance instruction, yoga, tai chi or other exercise promoting health recovery and neuroplasticity might also be included in the program.
